The rumor says that Diablo 3 is going to launch at the early period
of 2012. Now it’s so close to the New Year, do you feel excited? Another
exciting news for our Diablo fans is it’s said that the game is
probably coming to consoles. Yes, that’s right. At this point, this
thing is like a joke without a punchline. We just keep building and
building on the premise, but there’s no release in sight. Still,
Blizzard keeps giving us material for the setup, this time in the form
of another job posting on Gamasutra for a Console Network Senior
Software Engineer.
Wait, don’t be so quick temper. It’s not the time yet. According to
the job listing, “this position is responsible for ensuring the best
implementation of sophisticated networking systems on consoles.” Last
time we checked, Diablo III game director Jay Wilson said “we don’t want
to announce something until we’re sure.” Blizzard sure does hire a lot
of people without being sure!
Yes, we hope that when everything is ok and being set, then it’s the
beta test time to give us to comment and discuss. I would never easily
judge one thing before it’s completed and finished. Just one more thing I
need to remind you is when Diablo 3 is online; if you need something,
like gold, items, powerleveling or game cards, don’t forget to check out
swagvualt.com.
And one important question for all FFXIV players, are you still
playing Final Fantasy 14? I guess parts of players have dropped this
game since the subscription fees issues and something like that. Two
months ago, square Enix has laid out the plans for Final Fantasy 14
“Version 2.0,” with the implementation of subscription fees and an
announced launch window for the PS3 version in late 2012 being the most
surprising bits.
Someone said that the version 2.0 should be a brilliant one otherwise
they would be unwilling to spend the fees and leave FFXIV. So far, so
same. Final according to the Fantasy 14 Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida,
the game’s unintended year-long free trial will end between “late
November and early December.” After that, the publisher is going to rock
the MMO space old-school with a subscription-based billing system. For
the further details about pricing, that will be sent by email to current
registered players at a future date. Have you received this letter yet?
Also PS3 is under its way. It’s planning to stumble in next holiday
now scheduled to release “between October and December of 2012.” Then a
“second free trial period” will begin after the PS3 launch. Following
the launch, the development team plans to rework in-game maps, switch
over to a new client and new servers, and provide PC players new
software that will be distributed online “free of charge.” For those
looking to get deep into the changes, Square Enix has provided a full
explanation and several PDFs of future plans on its site.
So when this game starts to charge a monthly fee, no doubt, there is
someone who hates to pay for the subscription fees will leave this game.
It’s a realistic choice, the gaming market is not only owns this game.
We have much more great choices. But what if the version 2.0 is truly
amazing, awesome? So there is still loyal fans who continue to play it,
love it. Games give us the right of choice, and we should use it
carefully and objectively. Don’t be impulsive. Stay calm, and stay tuned
to SwagVault Christmas and New Year event. Since New Year is right
around the corner, make your wish on the even page, we realize it for
you!
